Look over to the right. There is an orange banner about the Challenge Stuff photo contest. This week is your last chance to win $100. Please consider submitting a picture. Thanks!
Really stoked. I finally committed to the photo contest I've been saying I might put on for months. Well, it's official. It starts now, and ends on Black Friday, November 27th. There are cash prizes. And the contest is co-sponsored by the Center for Justice and Reconciliation at PLNU, which is donating an extra $100 to Plant with Purpose's Trees Fund in the name of the winner.
Recently I've been having trouble embedding Flickr slide shows into a Web site I'm working on. So I thought I'd test a slide show out on my blog and see if I run into the same trouble.
The problem occurs using FireFox (PC or Mac) and IE (PC) but does not seem to happen when using Safari (Mac). I'm embedding the code that can be found by clicking on the set and then viewing it as a slide show and then clicking on the share link and then copying and pasting the embed code. The trouble is that once any action is taken in FireFox or IE (e.g. clicking or scrolling), the slide show disappears.
Accountability. I thought that I would announce that tomorrow I plan to snap some photos to add to the Challenge Stuff Flickr group, which I've terribly neglected. If you don't see some shots added there (and here) in the next couple of days, well throw something at my head.
One reason I've been reluctant to snap shots, I have to admit, is that I had some nasty trouble combining my Light Room library from my old computer to my new one. I don't want to keep adding new shots cause I think it might be a real chore to get it all in order. But I'm going to and it will force me to clean things up. Ok. Complaint done.
