Today on this last day of 2008 I woke at around 4 a.m. and headed out to day-hike the Pacific Crest Trail to eagle rock, which looks surprisingly like an eagle. A good buddy came along and also my dog Piper, who hiked not only the 5 miles out-and-back but an extra 5 miles worth of charging around. We all had a good time.
Not much more to say. Being outside is a great way to end the year. And start it. Though I bet sleep will be more likely tomorrow. We've got friends coming over to spend the night and lots of fun in store.
